Piping process
CTRA supplies GRP and GRP-Thermoplastic high-performance piping systems in a range of diameters from 25 to 1500 mm, based on detailed studies provided by its customers or carried out by its design office.
CTRA produces pipes and a whole range of fittings in GRP and GRP – Thermoplastic that comply with relevant standards and norms in the geographical area of the projects to be carried out.
The wide range of materials processed by CTRA guarantees its customers the best resistance to chemicals at a cost-effective price.
CTRA has carried out several major projects, the largest volume of which consisted of more than 50,000 inches of prefabricated workshop welding.
Pipelines
CTRA studies and offers technical solutions for the transfer of all types of fluids over long distances, combining chemical compatibility and mechanical and abrasive resistance, thus ensuring interesting longevity without the need for routine maintenance.
This is why the reference project carried out by CTRA in 2006 for OCP Morocco, which consisted of the construction of two phosphor-gypsum disposal pipelines of Ø1800 and a total length of 8 km, is the perfect example.
These pipelines are chemically, abrasively and mechanically resistant and have been buried at a depth of more than 12m to ensure a gravity flow speed of a loaded fluid.
This project required the processing of 3400 tons of vinyl ester GRP over 24 months and was a « case history ».
